Mamarazzi Part 2

Toby's second birthday party was on September 26 at Gymboree. Alex could not participate in many of the activities yet, but he enjoyed the "people watching."

Mamarazzi Part 1

Sharis takes wonderful photos with her digital SLR camera. She calls it the "mamarazzi" camera. These photos are from June 28, 2009. Alex was almost four months old in the photos and you can see how much he has grown in the last few months.

Visitor & Bottles

Yesterday Alex met his Uncle Brendan ("Uncle Shrek"). We have been mainly hanging around the house and watching sports. Alex watched from football with his Daddy, Uncle Shrek and Grandpa. We are also planning to head downtown and to Rudy's.

Alex now holds his own bottle. I remember seeing the older babies do this at daycare and now Alex is an older baby. We are already halfway through his seventh month and the time is flying. Alex is doing a lot of scooting and may be crawling soon.

Daddy's Hat

Alex is wearing his Daddy's favorite hat. He is also figuring out how to bounce in the jumperoo on his own. He is really getting into watching the dogs. He wants to "pet" (grab) them now.

Do you see my teeth?!

I first discovered that Alex was cutting two bottom center teeth on September 13th, but I did not get them into a picture until today. Of course, now Alex wants to put everything in his mouth. I see a lot of baby proofing in our future.

Meeting

Frida and Paddy met today for the first time and did better than expected. They are pretty ambivalent about each other. Paddy made herself at home on the couch and may be a regular visitor. Alex and Paddy also got to meet today.

Welcome

My dad and Paddy (my parents' dog) arrived in San Antonio, their new home, this afternoon. Welcome!
