February Craft Spending

After keeping my spending low for a few months, I went over my crafting budget of $40 for February. I spent $35.37 at my local scrapbook store, $9.99 on my first Michael's trip, and $13.00 on my trip to check out a different Michael's store in my area. My total spending for the month was $58.36.

I really like the scrapbook store in my area, Memories Live On. I am planning another visit to the store when they get in the new Distress Markers. They have a good selection of stamps, papers, and dies. I checked out two Michael's in my area. Neither of these locations are as nice as the one at The Rim at La Cantera in San Antonio, but the Cupertino location is okay. At both stores, I found their sale signs deceptive. I picked up a couple of items that I thought were on sale but turned out to be full price. They were items that I have wanted for a while, but I will be more careful in the future. I did enjoy checking out new stores and playing with new supplies.

For now, I am back to crafting at our kitchen table.

How exciting to be out discovering where all the best crafting stores are...I think you did very well not to have spent more, under the circumstances!
